View from Cadillac Mountain

This is the view from Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. From here we did the loop and ended up at Jordan Pond House for lunch. (See below)
It was an interesting day. The day before, I had been to the Strand Theatre here in Rockland for a showing of 10 Questions for the Dalai Lama , a documentary by Rick Ray.
Rick was there and answered questions before and after. I had wanted to talk with him after the film and tell him how beautiful and poetic his photography was and how very moved I was by the film, but he was swamped.

Well, I got my chance here at Acadia because just as we came up on Sand Beach, there he was filming. A serendipitous moment.

10 Questions was an interesting film...especially the cinematography.
These amazing shots for me spoke more for the message of Peace than any dialog or story.
