Autumn Approachs

Each morning someone has to walk the long and winding driveway to get the paper...
I love this walk..gets me moving ...
I always see an interesting bird or two, breathe in the ocean air and find some interesting treasures along the path.

The apples have fallen and nestled with some mossy birch logs.

Rocks by the shore with richly colored lichen

Geraniums by the door. I have placed some nicely patinated copper under my flowers to help it age even more. It made a nice contrast.

This new work is wonderful!!!

The copper behind the flowers makes a unique backdrop...very striking. That first apple is my favorite.

We have the trek to the newspaper, too...but ours comes late afternoon.

I love these photos-esp the geraniums. They are the only flowers I've ever been able to grow without killing :) Not much of a green thumb. The apples are very interesting, I like the 1st one the best as well.
