I took a trip out to Boyce Thompson Arboretum recently and came back with some landscape images with the intent of turning them into infra- red looking images in Photoshop.
Here is the progression. The first image is obviously the original, the next a high contrast/saturation that I liked for it's old postcard look. The final image was tweaked about in Photoshop using channel mixer . It was further softened and I thought it ended up looking like a Chinese landscape which pleased me.
