Grapefruit with Eucalyptus

I recently returned from San Diego after teaching a workshop . Friend Yvonne surprised me with a bag of the famous Borrego Springs grapefruit which I later found in my workshop box . I usually need a dollop of honey to sweeten this treat but these beauties need nothing! They taste like they are already infused with honey in every bite! Thanks Yvonne for introducing me to these gems. There is a Grapefruit festival in Borrego Springs every year. I might have to find my way back to San Diego just for that!
