 There is something wondrous and warm hearing music in unexpected landscapes. The softness that comes from the sound in open space.
.... a distant drum in a city...A slow guitar coming from high in the Superstitions ...a Tibetan bowl echoing from a canyon in Sedona...
...that lone bagpiper coming through the mist at Spanish Bay..
An oud in a mesquite bosque..


I thought it might be a wonderful surprise for someone who happened to be near that foggy beach late one evening, to hear a celtic flute dancing  just above the waves then disappearing into the low fog.

I chose a remote spot and started to improvise....
Not long after, a group of children, who had been gathering and exploring, ran toward me...The older boy was whistling...
I felt rather  the pied piper...

What joy....
