January Thaw 2006

Just taken a few minutes ago from our front yard. I was working on this lettering to accompany a flower painting and looked outside. Surprise!
So much for a January Thaw........

I'm going to try to get a few more shots from long range of the Superstitions as soon as I get bundled up and will post them later tonight.

Penning nice letters,
Is better,
Than knitting sweaters!
Or being a debtor...

This is so beautiful, Vicky -- it looks other-worldly and mysterious, and your lettering has such life and spirit. I hope you're able to take more photos.............xooxox---anna

Thought it might be snowing up on the mts in your neck of the woods. It is gorgeous. Will have to take a drive near Power rd. just to see the superstitions blanketed in snow. Always a remarkable sight! Can't wait to see more pictures.
love, chuck

Fun little poem. Won't catch me knitting any too soon. I get too frustrated ...too tedious for me!
Crochet...maybe

Anna.......Yes! It is otherworldy. My friend Peggy and I have been saying the same thing. Almost looks like we are in China..

Chuck...Thanks. I wonder if you got snow in Mesa.
