This is such a transformative, light, remarkably pleasing, way to enter and embrace the thought that beauty is everywhere. You are a human treasure Ms Victoria.
What a nice thing to say Jen..Thanks My basement is full of discarded stuff like this. I find them equal in beauty to the gold and silver that I collect as well.
Thank you Toni. I do love assembling this kind of stuff and enjoy the contrasts of aged against new and precious.
The assemblage thing is really a departure from my usual stuff but I'm enjoying where that tactile journey is taking me more and more lately. The Mackintosh reference is just my ref to Charles Rennie Mackintosh. One of my art heroes.
I keep notebooks and sketches, doodles and one of them is part of the exhibit that I have at CMCA.
