Variation on a theme

The above is a variation of last years card . We had a similar storm move through yesterday with some wonderful dramatic clouds.

The family is gathering for the holidays. Our first order of business is a "Mexican Hot Sauce Throwdown" The second annual. I thought is was over last year but there has been renewed interest in the project.
I'll get back with further developements and possibly a winning recipe.
