The desert cacti are early to bloom this year. This Hedgehog cactus blooms in beautiful array of colors from clarets , yellows and fuchsias to every subtle variation in between.
I love to get down south of Tucson and beyond to bird. Madera Canyon, Ramsey Canyon etc. Saw my first Elegant Trogon in Madera. Sadly, I haven't been in a couple of years! Now on to Maine birds.
