Last kayak of the season

It's always sad to put the kayaks away for the season.
This was actually taken in October on one of those unusually balmy days that we had this year. It was such a calm evening.
I love kayaking on the glassy, calm water. I paddle up toward the wide part of the St. George and explore the little inlets along the way.
I usually see deer, fox and always a heron or two. There is always a surprise just around the corner. Something new.

I snapped this with my small nikon (dedicated for kayak use)
